The Patron of our College is Mar Joseph Kallarangattu Bishop of Pala. Our first patron was Mar Joseph Pallickaparambil . We have three former managers and two former Principals. The founder manager was Rev Fr.Augustine Perumattam (1993 to 1996) and his successor was Rev Fr.Cyriac Kunnel (1996-2004), his successor was Rev Fr.Mathew Nariveli. The first Principal was Dr P.J Sebastian and his successor was Prof. Mathew T Mathekal who is at present working in the St Josephs College of Engineering and Technology, Palai. Present Manager is Rev.Dr.George Njarakunnel and the Principal is Shri. V.J. Joseph.

This school is established hereon 22nd May 1916. Sri. Joseph Mappilai Ponnamattom, a well known social worker of Marangadu and his co-workers took interest to start this school. From 1916 to 1945 Sri. Joseph Mappilai was the Manager. Rev. Fr. Zacharias Edakkara was the Manager from 1945 to 1978. In 1978 the management handed over to the Superior of the S.H Convent Vellilappilly. In 1986 the Pala Corporate Educational Agency took up the responsibility of the school.

The headmasters of the institution were Sri. Kakkanadu K Siva Sankara Pillai, Sri. V.K Damodharan Nair, Rev. Sr. Annie John, Sr. Agnet, Sr. Amala Jose, Sr. Lissiue Keepuram and Sr. Aggi Maria. Now Rev. Sr. Annit Mathew is the headmistress of this school. Rev. Sr. Mercy Joseph and Sr. Jiss Mathew are the co-workers. This is the only educational institution in this place.

On 1st May 1940, the management handed over to the Superior of S.H Convent Vellilappilly. It helped to the easy running of the school. After this, Sr. James Kambakathumkal, Sr. Kochutheresia Paimbillil, Sr. Viani Cherunilam, Sr. Flowerlet, Sr. Thomasina, Sr. Beninja, Sr. Evangelist, Sr. Felix, Sr. Villaim Mary, Sr. Mary Cyriac, Sr. Elsa Francis, Sr. Felcitta were the heads of this institution. Now Rev. Sr. Rose James is the headmistress, Sr. Grace Mattom and Smt. Mini M Mathew are the co-workers.

In 1915, Karippakudy primary school started at the management of Sri. Thottumkal Joseph. In 1939, the management of this school is handed over to S.H Convent Vellilappilly. On 5th June 1950, this school is re-established at the new building which was close to Sacred Heart Convent Vellilappilly. In July 1964, this school is promoted as a U.P School. The all-round development of children is taking place here. The students who studied here received the divine call and become priests and nuns.

This school get the honourship of "Best School" at the Pala Corporate Educational Agency and Ramapuram sub-district on 1986-87. This tradition is keeping on till now. Rev. Sr. Annie Grace, who got the state award and national award for best teachers is the headmistress of this school now
